Life is for the alive my dear
Sweeney Todd:
life is for the alive, my dear
so let's keep living it
Sweeney Todd:
there was a barber and his wife
and she was beautiful
a foolish barber and his wife
she was his reason and his life
and she was beautiful
and she was virtuous
and he was--
The dot dot dot at the end of "and he was" is just amazing. that is where he dies. his throat slit, like his many victims. the movie was really good actually. and deppy can sing, pretty good too. and i know someone who will never touch a meat pie ever again.
To think, such heartbreaking love. He loved his wife and he killed her unknowingly. Mrs Lovett let it happen because she loved him, and in turn he had to kill her for letting him kill his wife. And then the little boy kills him for killing Mrs Lovett, whom he loved. The love never ends. that boy probably dies too later. So see, love and death intertwined. One the cause of the other, and vice versa. A sad, Victorian, morbid romance, where there are no dreams, only nightmares. Did the young lovers manage to get away? Is there a happy ending after the end?
The costumes were amazing. I'd give anything for the dresses, gloves, umbrellas and shoes. Pure love. And Borat was hilariously good, as expected.
I laughed and smiled alot.
And now I'm going to bed, and hopefully to dreams. Goodnight.
